A Heating power (kW)
b Exterior temperature (°C)
The functioning range for the booster heating and the setting for
the bivalence point are defined by parameters T0 and T1.
-
T0 (code 148) = limit exterior temperature for the functioning
of the heat pump
For installations with electric booster (scheme A , B), the
parameter must be set to -20°C (factory setting).
For installations with heating booster (scheme C, D), the
parameter must be set at -10°C.
-
T1 (code 150) = exterior temperature for the bivalence point
The bivalence point (2) is obtained by the intersection of
the straight line showing calorific requirements (5) and the
heat pump's power curve (3) chosen according to the type of
installation (floor or radiators).

Context
Detached house with one heating zone with radiators and boiler
booster (scheme C)
-
Calorific power determined for the reference regional minimum
temperature of -8°C = 10 kW
-
Pump at chosen value = 12 kW
-
Temperature limit for heating = 20°C
