10.3.4 Cleaning the burner (heavy dirt)

Undo the screwed connection for the cooling pipes on
the right and left of the burner

Undo the four screws for the burner fastening on the
frame

Remove the plug from the ignition and monitoring elec-
trodes

Undo the screw on the gas pipe

Pull the burner with jet plate towards the front and out.
6.
Undo the four screws for the jet plate fasteners on the
burner frame.
7.
Clean the burner.
8.
Clean the jets and injectors with a soft brush then blow
these through.
9.
Reinstall the jet plate with the burner.

Completing cleaning work

Hinge the electronics box upwards.

Screw in the plate for the down-draught diverter.

cold-water isolation valve.

Checking the flue gas sensors
1.
Temporarily decommission the product.
2.
Use a flue gas restrictor to block the flue gas route.
3.
Start up the product.
Result 1:
The product automatically switches off within
3.5 minutes.
The product automatically switches on again after 15 to
20 minutes.
The flue gas sensors work without any problems.
Result 2:
The product does not automatically switch off within 3.5
minutes.

Draining the product
1.
Close the service valves of the product.
2.
Close the gas stopcock.

Start check programme

4.
Open the drain valves.
5.
Make sure that the cap of the automatic air vent on
the internal pump is open so that the product can be
drained fully.

Draining the product on the domestic hot
water side
Applicability:
Product with integrated hot water generation
1.
Cut off the cold water supply.
2.
Undo the screwed connections on the domestic hot
water pipe under the product.
10.8
Draining the entire installation
1.
Attach a hose to the draining device on the installation.
2.
Place the free end of the hose in a suitable drainage
point.
3.
Ensure that the service valves are open.
4.
Open the drain cock.
5.
Open the purging valves on the radiators. Start from
the highest radiator and then work from the top to the
bottom.
6.
Once the water has drained off, close the purging
valves for the radiators and the drain cock.
