carbon monoxide
The product cannot prevent the
negative health consequences
of CO and will not fully safe-
guard individuals with specific
medical conditions.
This product is only triggered
once there is a certain concen-
tration of CO in the air.

Inform emergency services
immediately if there are signs
of a threat to life.
How to proceed if the alarm is
triggered:

Open all accessible doors
and windows fully to provide
ventilation.
▶
Switch off the heat generator.
▶
Leave the building immedi-
ately and ensure that others
do not enter the building.
▶
Seek medical attention for
any who are suffering the
effects of CO poisoning.
▶
Ensure that no units that use
fuel are switched on. Have
these units checked before-
hand by a competent person.
1.2.4 Danger due to
malfunctions
▶
You must not obstruct the
product with any type of ob-
ject or hang anything from
it (e.g. furniture, articles of
clothing).
▶
Ensure that the product is
not exposed to any direct air
draught or fan (e.g. fans, hair
dryers).
▶
Have the product decommis-
sioned and replaced at the
latest after eight years.
