4.12 Replacing the roller assembly

Figure 4.8

NOTE!

The implement must be connected to the tractor's three point hitch for the entire procedure!

Use a tractor with sufficient weight, ideally the tractor intended to pull the implement when work-
ing.

NOTE!

Make sure that the tractor is switched off and that the parking brake is engaged whilst fit-

ting is underway!

1 Place the implement in transport mode on a flat a stable surface.

2 Release the lock hook only on the wing section where roller replacement is to be carried out

and fully unfold the wing section using the hydraulics.

3 Lower the roller to the surface.

4 Remove the scraper beam.

5 Undo all bolts holding the roller bearings.

6 Lift the roller away.

7 The roller unit is installed in reverse order.
