Adjusting scrapers, steel compactors

The scrapers should be fitted as far in between the roller rings as possible. If the pins are worn,
they can be adjusted by moving the scraper beam.

Adjusting scrapers, rubber compactors

Figure 2.16

The scrapers must be adjusted so that their points are approx. 15 mm from the rubber rings. This
is a basic setting. If the rubber packer does not get clean, adjust the scrapers so that they gradually
get closer to the packer roller.

NOTE!

Under no circumstances may the scraper tips touch the rubber packer as they may cause

damage.

NOTE!

Conduct regular checks to ensure that stones have not become jammed between the rubber

rings.
