Commissioning (operation)

IMPORTANT!

5.4  Storage

Store pumping unit

1. 

Clean the vacuum pumping unit when it is polluted.

2. 

Recommendation: Perform a preventive maintainance before 

storing the pumping unit. Especially if it ran more than 15000 

operating hours

3. 

Close the suction and exhaust connections, e. g., with protec

-

tion caps.

4. 

Package the pumping unit such that it is protected from dust; 

possibly  

enclose desiccants.

5. 

Store the vacuum pumping unit in a cool, dry location.

If damaged parts are stored for operational reasons, these should 

be clearly identified as 

not ready for use

.
