If the pump does not achieve the ultimate vacuum:

In case the diaphragms and valves have been replaced, a run-in period of several hours is required
before the pump achieves its ultimate vacuum.
In case of loud noise switch off immediately and check diaphragms and valves for correct position.
If the specified ultimate vacuum is not achieved and if this does not change after the run-in period:
Check hose connectors between pump heads and manifolds for leaks. If necessary recheck pump
chamber.

Position housing cover. Pay attention to correct hose guid-
ance.

Move housing cover slightly to make sure that the head
covers are correctly positioned.

Screw in the six socket head screws fixing the housing
cover crosswise first slightly, then tighten.
☞
Do not tighten until head cover is in contact with housing,
max. torque 6 Nm.
Assembling the housing cover at the side of the on/off switch
➨
Slip the PTFE tube onto the hose connection at the hous-
ing cover.
➨
Close hose clip with flat pliers.
➨
Tighten union nut first by hand and then tighten one full
turn using open ended wrench.
➨
Assemble the handle.
➨
Use an open ended wrench (w/f 14) to reconnect the hose
to the elbow fitting.
