1. IMPORTANT NOTICE
Conforming to the European laws regarding technical gear usage and personal protection
devices we hereby call your attention to the following points:
1. Use high pressure valves (cylinder valves) only according to the instructions contained in
this manual and only after having read and understood all instructions.
2. Use valves only for the purposes and applications described in this manual and
approved in writing by SCUBAPRO.
3. SCUBAPRO valves must be serviced exclusively by SCUBAPRO trained and authorized

the instructions contained herein. These instructions do not extend the warranty nor the
liabilities provided for by current laws.
2. SAFETY RULES
Diving must be practiced according to regulations and guidelines set by a recognized
teaching organization. Before participating in any diving activity it is required that you follow
a complete diving course covering theory and practice of diving. The course must cover,
among other subjects, air reserve calculations, consumption rates and their relation to time
and depth, correct use of the buoyancy compensator, dive tables knowledge and familiarity
with all essential elements of diving gear.
The present manual does not replace a diving course!
Before beginning a dive course each diver must pass a medical examination in order to
asses his/her fitness to dive. His/her physical condition must then be periodically checked
by a physician and updated as is required by the examining doctor.
The tank must be filled with atmospheric air only, compressed according to EN 12021. The
presence of moisture inside the tank can cause corrosion within the cylinder and lead to freezing
and malfunction during dives in low temperature water. The cylinder must be transported
according to local regulations for transporting dangerous goods. Use of the cylinder must
comply with local regulations regarding the use of gases and compressed air.
3. SPECIFICATIONS
SCUBAPRO valves are built with marine grade chrome plated brass.
The open-close knob turns around approximately 720° (two complete turns, therefore, avoid
straining the turning knob in both directions (closed and full-open) to prevent damage.
The threading on the tank connection is M25x2 compliant with regulation EN 144-1.
!
WARNING
This thread is NOT compatible with old tanks equipped with a ¾ gas thread. A
possible incorrect pairing could cause expulsion of the valve, resulting in serious
injuries or death!
