Section 1 Fax Operation (Names of Parts / Preparations / Features and Functions of this Fax)

The numbers and symbols shown in the table above refer to the
following:
*: During procedures that use the message display but are not

included in the initial procedures listed in the table above, the
procedure will work just like this operation.

O:The additional operation will work unconditionally with the

initial operation.

–: Unrelated to fax operation.

: The additional operation will NOT work with the initial

operation.

:The additional operation will work with the initial operation

under certain conditions. The adjoining numerals refer to the
following conditions:

1: The documents and/or box being used in the initial operation and

the additional operation are not the same.

2: Faxes which are being printed out directly will be received using

Memory Reception and will be printed out once printing in the
Fax mode becomes possible.

3: Print out will be accomplished once printing in the Printer mode

becomes possible

4: Print out will be accomplished once scanning of the documents is

complete and the machine can perform the operation.

5: (26/26 cpm copier): Available if the initial operation and the

additional operation involve anything other than the TWAIN
