14a: Entering New Values for Modem Callout
For each option you select from the Modem Callout Menu the screen will display the previous value
selected for that option and prompt you to enter the new value. The following table will help you decide
what values to enter. If the System5 calls and the telephone is answered, it assumes that the message was
received, but if you use the system with a pager, it has no way of knowing the message was received so it
will continue to call until the message is acknowledged.
NOTE: If an alarm occurs during the time period when the modem is instructed not to call out (late at
night, for example), it will call and report the alarm as soon as it’s call out time begins
even if the alarm is
no longer in effect
.
15: Calendar
If you choose Calendar from the More Choices
option on the Main Menu, the Screen will display
some or all of the following choices (depending
upon your system needs).
Next to each choice is the current programmed
value for that option. Type in the number of the
option you would like to program. The screen
will display the previous value selected and
prompt you to enter the new value. Type the new
value and Press Enter.
15a: Entering New Values for Calendar
For each option you select from the Calendar Menu the screen will display the previous value selected for
that option and prompt you to enter the new value. The following table will help you decide what values
to enter.
