MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
PROCEDURE
FREQUENCY
Check system for leaks and failures
Daily
Check feedwater chlorine levels
Daily
Collect operational data and adjust
valves to achieve proper flow rates
Daily
Change prefilter cartridge elements
monthly or when the pressure differential reaches 10-15
PSIG, which ever occurs first
Test GFCI
monthly
Lubricate pump motor bearings
2 times a year
Calibrate instrumentation
2 times a year
Clean RO membrane elements
When normalized productivity rate drops by more than
15% of the clean membrane normalized productivity
rate, when the RO feed pressure increases by 25 PSIG
over the clean feed pressure, or when the RO rejection
rate drops by more than 3%
Replace RO membrane elements
When cleaning the membranes fails to restore the proper
