6.2 

Installation position 

 

  The  Fl  is  always  installed  upstream  of  the  pipeline 

section and consumer to be monitored. 

  A backflow preventer or KFR valve must be installed upstream 

of  each  Fl.  Normally  this  valve  must  already  be 
present behind the water meter. 

  However, if multiple Fl (such as fuses) are used, each 

requires such a valve.
