OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
MOTOR SWITCH
To turn the engine on and off.
Position the ignition switch in the following
way:
OFF: To turn off the engine.
ON: To start the engine.

HANDLE ON
To start the engine, pull the starter handle until
resistance is felt, and then pull hard in the direc-
tion of the arrow, as shown below.

FUEL TANK VENT
The fuel tank cap is provided with a Ventilation
lever to seal the tank gas.
The ventilation lever must be in the ON position
for the engine to run.
When the engine is not in use, leave the ven-
tilation lever in the OFF position to reduce the
possibility of fuel leakage. Allow the engine to
cool well before turning the ventilation lever to
the OFF position.
