PIR Camera
The 2-way wireless RF technology build into iConnect enables the use of advanced
PIR-based detection cameras. This use offers combined detection, video recording and
image clips. Up to 8 PIR camera can be assigned to the iConnect .
This section describes the steps of installing the PIR camera detectors with the iConnect
.
1.
Register the PIR camera as any other detector (see explanation in the section of
registering detectors)

Set the PIR camera parameters as defined in installer programming menu

Parameter
Description
LED
Used to enable or disable the PIR camera LED
Pulse count
The pulse counter determines the amount of beams needed to be
crossed before the sensor produces an alarm
Alarm delay
The delay between reporting detections to the main unit (01-20
seconds)
Camera resolution VGA (640x480), QVGA (320 x 240) QQVGA (160 x 120)
Color
Define whether the pictures will be colored or black and white
Compression
Used to compress and resize the image file. High compression
reduces the file size.
Flash
Define if the flash is disable or automatic (enabled)
# PIC Alarm
Number of pictures in alarm: (1-9)
Pictures Delay
Delay between pictures (100ms - 500ms)
User monitoring
Defines the permission to perform snapshots from the ELAS
Zone assign
Zone assignment feature allows the installer program 4 different
zones to trigger snapshot capturing in addition to the cameras’
