Packing the canopy in the inner container
Once again make sure you have removed the packing line from the tabs at the vertex
of the parachute. If this line is not removed, the parachute will not open!
Then begin “Z-ing” the canopy into the back of the inner container, working from the
vertex down (Picture 4A).

It is helpful to have the sand bags still weighing the folded canopy down so that the
“Z”s can be introduced cleanly into the inner container (Picture 4B). Continue all the
way to the basis.
