PREPARING JUICE
1. Prepare the desired citrus fruit, by
washing it and halving it.
2. The lid only protects against dust
and must be removed for opera-
tion.
3. Wrap the excess length of the
power cord around the cable sto-
rage element on the underside of
the appliance.
4. Insert the collection container
with spout into the appliance. The
spout on the collection contai-
ner must be in the corresponding
recess on the motor block.
5. Now place the sieve in the coll-
ection container (the flat sides of
the sieve opening must be pro-
perly inserted on the flat sides of
the collection container, otherwise
the sieve cannot be inserted).
6. Fit on the smaller cone (3). The
smaller cone is ideal for smaller
fruit, such as lemons.
7. If you want to press out larger
fruit, fit the larger cone (4) on the
smaller cone. Ensure that both
cones are firmly seated.
8. Place a suitable container under
the outflow.
9. Plug the mains plug of the appli-
ance into an electrical outlet
(220–240 V~, 50 Hz).
10. Open the outflow valve, by lightly
pressing the spout downward (see
illustration).
11. Press the halved citrus fruit onto
the cone with the sliced area
downward.
12. This automatically switches the
motor on and the fruit is pressed
out. When lifting off the pressed-
out fruit the appliance switches
off.
13. Due to the motor design, the cone
does not always turn in the same
direction. Thus optimal juice yield
is ensured.
14. Do not press too forcefully,
because it makes the cone turn
more slowly and the motor is
excessively loaded. The best
results are obtained with a slow
procedure.
15. The juice flows into the juice coll-
ection container underneath the
sieve, and when the outflow valve
is open, it flows from the juice
collection container into the ves-
sel placed under the spout. The
juice collection container is desi-
gned for a fill quantity of approx.
500 ml. If you are preparing lar-
ger quantities of juice, you must
unplug the mains plug from the
electrical socket from time to
time, then allow the juice to flow
out into a vessel and clean the
sieve.
16. After extracting the juice, push
the outflow valve upwards and
thus close it, to prevent dripping.
17.
Unplug the mains plug from the
electrical outlet after use.
18. Clean the appliance after every
use.
Note: Maximum short operating time is 5 minutes. Thereafter allow the appliance to
first cool down for several minutes, before making more juice.
