22. Do not use the appliance for
any other purpose than pres-
sing out of citrus fruit.
23. Do not use the appliance
with accessories of other
manufacturers or brands, to
prevent damage.
24. Disconnect the appliance
from the wall socket after
use and prior to cleaning.
Never leave the appliance
unattended when it is con-
nected to the wall socket.
25. Never open the casing of the
apppliance. There is danger
of electric shock.
26. Check the appliance, the
wall socket and the lead
cable regularly for wear or
damage. In case the lead
cable or other parts appear
damaged, please send the
appliance or the base to our
after sales service for ins-
pection and repair.Unautho-
rised repairs can constitute
serious risks for the user and
void the warranty.
27. If the supply cord is dama-
ged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its ser-
vice agent or a similarly qua-
lified person in order to avoid
a hazard.
Never reach into the appliance while it is in operation - danger
of injury! Keep hair, articles of clothing, other tools, etc. away
from the appliance, as long as the plug is in the electrical out-
let.
Never touch the cone directly with your hands when the plug is
plugged into the electrical outlet.
Never open the casing of the apppliance. There is danger of
electric shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all packaging materials
and any transport safety devices.
Keep packaging materials away
from children - danger of suffo-
cation!
2. Clean all parts with a damp
cloth, as described in the chapter
“Cleaning and care”.
3. Connect the base to the mains
supply by means of the lead cable
(220–240 V~, 50 Hz).
4. Check if the appliance is placed
firmly.
