15. Ensure that the power supply cord does not hang down from the
working top edge as it could be easily pulled down, particularly
by young children, thereby causing serious accidents.
16. Do not wind the power cord around the appliance to avoid dam-
ages.
17. Make sure that any contact between the power cord and hot
parts of the appliance is avoided.
18. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
19. The surfaces of the appliance become hot during use. Only use
the heat-insulated handles and control elements.
20. Keep sufficient distance to inflammable objects such as cur-
tains etc.
21. Do not move the appliance during use or when it still contains
hot oil.
22. Do not use the appliance with other than the accompanying
accessory parts, e.g. of other brands. The use of other acces-
sories may cause risks.
23. Unplug the appliance after use, when the appliance is not used
or before cleaning it and let it cool down.
24. Do not leave the appliance unattended as long as the plug is
connected to a power socket.
25. Clean the appliance each time after use. All parts, in particular
the removable oil recipient, must be dry before being reassem-
bled.
26. If you are using the appliance under an extractor hood of a stove,
the stove must be switched off, to avoid a possible fire hazard.
27. Never extinguish grease fires with water – danger of explosion!
28. Do not place the appliance in a wall cabinet, on a shelf or directly
against a wall.
29. The appliance must only be switched on when the grease con-
tainer is filled with grease, and it has been placed in the appli-
ance. Never heat up the empty appliance.
30. Never place grease directly on the heating coil – fire hazard!
31. Check the appliances, the plug and the power cord regularly for
wear and damage.
