Alpha Key
- Use this key to access the secondary layer of characters.
Press the [ALPHA] key once to lock the keypad into Alpha state.
Press the [ALPHA] key a second time to return to the normal state.
Install the Battery
1. Pinch the battery latches together and lift the cover from the HT650.
2. Insert the battery, from bottom first, into the battery compartment. Press down on the
battery until it snaps into place.
3. Replace the battery cover and secure it into place by sliding the latches into locking
position.
Before using the HT650, ensure that the battery is fully charged. The initial charge requires
approximately sixteen hours. Subsequent charges are completed in less than four hours.

When the battery is charging, the HT650 Power LED lights
red

When charging is complete, the LED will turn
green

Charging the HT650
The battery in the HT650 can be charged using the Charging Cable or the Single-Slot USB
Cradle.
Charging the battery with the Charging Cable
1. Plug the Charging Cable into the I/O port at the bottom of the HT650.
2. Connect the Power Supply to the Charging Cable.
3. Insert the Power Supply's plug into an electrical outlet.
