Unlocking Channels

searcH Mode
Service Search Mode
If you do not have a reference to frequencies in your area, use a
search to find a transmission. You can search for Aircraft, Marine,
UHF CB Radio, CB Radio, Police, Fire, Ambulance, Railroad,
Racing frequencies without knowing the specific frequencies
used in your area. The scanner is preprogrammed with all the
frequencies allocated to these services.
To start a Service Search, press
Func
then
Srch/Svc .
When
the scanner finds a transmission, it stops on it. When the
transmission ends, the scanner resumes searching according to
the delay setting (see page 38).
