Base Station Setting
RTK base station (fixed base station) is to install the receiver antenna in a fixed position
and it will not move during the whole process. At the same time, the precise coordinates of
the known measuring station and the received satellite information are directly or in real
time sent to the receiver of the rover station (pending position) after being processed. The
rover station also receives information from the base station while receiving the satellite
observations to conduct the RTK positioning calculation and realize centimeter-level or
millimeter-level positioning.
Table 6-2 Base Station Mode shows the commands that are entered into the receiver
when precise coordinates are known.
