Safety alert symbols and signal words
Your safety and the safety of others are very important. We have provided important safety messages in this
manual and on the HydroPower RO. Always read and obey all safety messages. These instructions are not
meant to cover every possible condition and situation that may occur. Common sense and caution must be
practiced when operating and maintaining the HydroPower RO.
All safety messages will tell you what the potential hazard is, tell you how to reduce the chance of injury, and
tell you what can happen if the instructions are not followed.
This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert you to potential hazards that can cause serious
injury or death. All safety messages will follow this safety alert symbol along with the word
”DANGER” or ”CAUTION.” These words mean:
DANGER
Indicates a hazardous situation that can lead to serious injury or death.
CAUTION
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. Which, if not avoided, can
result in minor or moderate injuries.
ATTENTION
Indicates a situation which can lead to material damage.
