HANDSET
1. The supplied Lithium polymer battery pack is already installed in the handset. To replace the battery, press down
the lock button

and slide open the battery door, take out and replace the battery by disconnecting socket

.
2. Plug in the supplied AC switching power supply into an AC outlet and connect its output plug into the DC jack

located at the back of charger cradle.
3. Place the handset into the charging cradle —
if the handset is OFF, it will turn ON automatically.
4. The charging indicator

should light up red during the charging process. Adjust the position of handset in
charger cradle in case this indicator does not light up. During charging, the segments inside battery level icon
P
will flash in turn.
5. The battery pack should be fully charged up for 4 hours when used for the first time. All segments inside the icon
P
will show up and remain steady.
6. Now the unit is ready for operation. Either take out the unit or keep it placed in the charging cradle. In the latter
case, no damage will be caused to the battery, when the battery is being consumed and voltage falls to a certain
level, the charging cradle will automatically charge up the battery. The segments inside the icon
P
will flash in
turn whenever the unit is in its charging cradle.
DANGER: IF REPLACED, MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IN THE HANDSET IS THE CORRECT REFERENCE
BEFORE YOU PLACE IT IN THE HANDSET, OTHERWISE AN EXPLOSION MAY RESULT!
