E. Installation of the caller station
The caller unit is housed in a high impact ABS/PC cabinet which can achieve professional grade ruggedness
required in most outdoor application. Rubber gaskets seals around all joints keep out dust, rain, snow and spray,
assuring years of reliable operation even in harsh environment. The unit meets to IP54 rating and can operate from
-20˚C to 50˚C (lithium batteries are recommended in extreme temperatures).
IMPORTANT: The caller station should not be installed on metal screening surfaces nor at proximity of other
electronic/wireless devices that may reduce the operating range. An optional external aerial can be used in
these specific conditions.
1. Select a location near your door entrance where the surface is not too rough. We recommend do some polishing
to get a level surface or otherwise the unit may not be able to mount properly.
2. Mark your wall based on the protection hood wall mount holes. Drill your wall according to the provided wall
plugs. Insert wall plugs in the drilled holes.
3. Pass any necessary cables (power, gate wiring, optional external aerial, …) through your wall and through the
centre hole at the back of the protection hood.
4. Mount your protection hood to your wall using provided screws.
