Danger of electric shock!
Faulty electrical installation or excess supply voltage may
cause an electric shock.
- Only connect the heated seat pad to a 12V electrical
power socket of a vehicle (cigarette lighter).
- Ensure that the 12 V vehicle power socket is always
easily accessible, so that you can quickly disconnected
the power cable in the case of accident or malfunction.
- Do not operate the heated seat pad if it has been visibly
damaged or the connecting cable or the 12V plug is
defective.
- If the power cable of the heated seat pad is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person, to avoid danger.
- Do not open up the heated seat pad but refer to a
qualified servicing technician. Use a specialist workshop
for this. Liability and warranty claims are excluded for
repairs conducted independently, and for improper
connection or incorrect operation.
- When carrying out repairs, only parts may be used which
comply with the original unit specifications. There are
electrical and mechanical parts in this heated seat pad,
which are essential to protect against sources of hazard.
- Do not immerse either the heated seat pad or the power
cable or plug in water or other liquids.
- Never grasp the 12V plug with wet hands.
- Never pull the 12V plug from the 12 V vehicle power
socket with the power cable, but always grip it directly.
- Never use the power cord as a carrying handle.
- Keep the heated seat pad, the 12V plug and power
cable away from open flames and hot surfaces.
- Do not bend the power cable and do not place it over
sharp edges.
- Use the heated seat pad only in the interior of vehicles.
Never operate it in the rain.
- Ensure that children do not push objects into the heated
seat pad.
- If you are not using the heated seat pad, or cleaning it,
or if an error occurs, turn the heated seat pad off and
pull the 12V plug from the 12V vehicle power socket.
- Unplug the power cord from the 12V vehicle power
socket before cleaning and maintenance and after use.
Risks to children and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities (e.g. partially disabled,
elderly persons with restricted physical and
mental capabilities), or lack of experience and
knowledge (for example, older children).
- Children younger than 3 years must not use the heated seat
pad because they are unable to respond to overheating.
- Children older than 3 years are allowed to use the
heated seat pad only if a parent or guardian has preset
the control element or the child has been sufficiently
instructed in how to safely operate the regulating and/
or control unit.
- This heated seat pad can be used by children aged 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they are under supervision or have been
given instruction concerning the safe use of the heated
seat pad and understand the resulting risks. Children
must not play with the heated seat pad. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be undertaken by children
without supervision.
- Do not leave the heated seat pad unattended during
operation.
- Do not let children play with the packaging film. They can
get caught up in packaging and suffocate while playing.
Risk of burns!
During use, the heated seat pad will become warm.
- Do not use the heating function with direct contact
between the skin and the heated seat pad.
- Do not use the heated seat pad with helpless persons,
small children or persons who are insensitive to heat (e.g.
diabetics, persons with disease-related skin changes or
scarred skin in the area of use, after taking pain-relieving
medication or alcohol) and other vulnerable people
who are unable to react to overheating.
- Do not use the heated seat pad on parts of the body
which are inflamed, injured or swollen. If in doubt, refer
to a doctor. Otherwise, inflammation, injury or swelling
can worsen.
- Make sure that you or someone else do not go to sleep
while the heated seat pad is in operation.
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the heated seat pad can cause
damage to the heated seat pad.
- Do not use blankets, pillows or covers on the heated seat
pad.
- Do not bring the power cable into contact with hot parts.
- Never expose the heated seat pad to high temperatures
(heating, etc.) or the influence of weather (rain, etc.).
- Never immerse the heated seat pad in water to clean or
use a steam cleaner for cleaning.
- Do not use the heated seat pad if it has cracks or fissures
or is deformed. Replace any damaged components only
with matching original spare parts.
- Do not insert needles or pointed objects in the heated
seat pad.
