7. Stick paint protection film (5) as illustrated over the edge of the
boot/hatchback. The distance (A) should be around
7.8 inch (200 mm).
8. Connect hooks (23) to the paint protection film (5) and pull the
tensioning belts (6) through the buckles (15).
9. Tighten tensioning belts (6).
10. Remove plug (16) from the holder on the bicycle rack (1), plug
into the socket (24) of the trailer couplings electrical system,
and turn clockwise as far as it will go.
11. Check the lighting system is working.

The bicycle rack (1) is removed from the vehicle in reverse order.

spoiler) and panes of glass.

The bicycle rack for the trailer hitch is only intended for
transporting bicycles.
Only bicycles, each with a max. weight of 30 kg, may be
transported on the bicycle rack.
The maximum allowable load capacity of the bicycle rack,
the tow bar load of the trailer hitch, the allowable total
vehicle weight and the maximum allowable vehicle axle
load (see vehicle owners manual) must not be exceeded.
If these instructions are not followed, the bicycle rack together
with the mounted bicycles may free themselves from the
vehicle and cause injury to you and other persons, and/or may
result in an accident.
