MAINTENANCE OF SPLICE QUALITY
Pusher Block Cleaning
The performance of the fiber cleaver can be deteriorated if
the blade or clamp pads of the cleaver are contaminated.
In addition, the contamination of the fiber surface or tip
can cause higher splice loss. For this reason, it is important
to clean both the blade and clamp pads of the cleaver with
a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
