INSTALLATION
1. Determine if your pail has a 2" thread or pull-out
spout opening.
2. If it is a 2" thread, take collar (3) and screw directly
into pail (part 4 is not necessary)
3. If pull-out spout opening, screw part (3) into part (4)
4. Snap combined parts over metal ring on pail. To
remove from lid, use flat head screw driver and pry up.
5. Insert pump through hole, then tighten thumbscrew
to hold pump in place.
NOTE: Do not use wrench to tighten thumbscrew.
OPERATION
1. The pump is now ready for operation. Liquids should
begin flowing after a few upstrokes. If slight leakage
should occur, simply tighten packing nut on top of
the pump.
NOTE: Tighten only enough to prevent leakage.
Excessive tightening will damage the packing
nut and cause more leakage.
2. When pump is removed from drum, rinse thoroughly
in a liquid that is compatible with both the pump and
fluid. For questions about chemical compatibility,
contact your chemical supplier.
MAINTENANCE
Normal maintenance is not required. If leaking occurs
and tightening the packing nut does not solve the
problem, then replace Handle Assembly (1).
