OPERATION
LUBRICATION
NOTE: The stapler requires lubrication before
you use it for the first time.
1. Disconnect the air supply from the stapler before
lubricating.
2. Turn the stapler so the inlet is facing up and put one
drop of high-speed spindle oil (Unocal RX22 or 3-in-1
oil) into air inlet. Never use detergent oil or additives.
Operate the tool briefly after adding oil.
3. Wipe off excessive oil at the exhaust. Excessive
oil will damage o-rings of stapler. If in-line oiler is
used, manual lubrication through the air inlet is not
required on a daily basis.
4. Many air stapler users find it convenient to use an
oiler to help provide oil circulation through stapler
and increase the efficiency and useful life of the
stapler. Check the oil level in the oiler daily.
5. Many air stapler users find it convenient to use a
filter to remove liquid impurities which can rust or
wear internal parts of the tool. The filter must be
checked on a daily basis and drained if necessary.
LOADING THE STAPLER
1. Disconnect the air supply. (See Figure 1)
2. Pull pusher back until it stops on pusher guide, then
rotate pusher to position. (See Figure 2)
3. Insert 2 sticks of appropriate staples into magazine
from back. Slide staples forward to the front of the
magazine. (See Figure 3)
4. Pull pusher back to upright position and gently
let the pusher slide forward against the staples.
(See Figure 4)
CAUTION! Do not let the pusher slide forward
and strike the staples at high speed. This may
deform the staples or damage the stapler.
