3.3

Replacing the slim CD-ROM drive

This section describes how to remove and replace the CD-
ROM drive in your GX28 system.

1. Remove the chassis cover as described in section 2.2.1

Removing the chassis cover

2. Remove the data and power cables from CD-ROM back-

plane.

3. Remove the CD-ROM bracket as shown.

4. Lift the CD-ROM drive from the chassis.
