2.7 – Installing the VRMs

VRM’s (voltage regulator modules) are included with this board and

MUST

be installed for the

board to operate. One VRM is required for each processor that is installed. However, installing
more VRM’s than there are processors is fine.

The system MUST be powered down when removing and installing VRM modules. It is
recommended that failed VRM modules be replaced IMMEDIATELY.
