modate up to 1024MB of SDRAM. The 168-pin DIMMs must be of the 3.3V,
unbuffered variety. The position of the notch in the DRAM key position will
tell you whether or not a DIMM is unbuffered (see the figure below). All
installed memory will be automatically detected, so there is no need to set any
jumpers.

Some details of memory installation:

•

At least one unbuffered DIMM must be installed for the system to POST.

•

The mainboard supports 8MB, 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, and 256MB
SDRAM w/SPD and SDRAM+ECC DIMM modules.

•

66MHz or 100MHz SDRAM modules can be used, but you must use
100MHz SDRAMs if you wish to take advantage of the 100MHz Front
Side Bus speed.

The table on the next page shows some of the possible memory configura-
tions.
