Copying Music Files into the Red Rock MMD
3.1 Windows® ME/2000 SP3/XP Plug, Copy Files and Unplug
Plug and Play
3.1.1 Insert the Red Rock MMD into the USB port of the computer. The device will be
automatically recognized by system and the drivers allocated for it.
3.1.2 Double-click “My Computer” from the desktop and a new “Removable Disk” icon
can be found in that window.
3.1.3 If the device was not correctly recognized by the system, please unplug and
insert again.
Music files download
3.1.4 Select the music files from folder of your computer.
3.1.5 Downloading these files via “Copy-and-Paste” operation into the Red Rock MMD.
3.1.6 The device can recognize and playback music files in MP3, WMA and WAV
format. However, the device can also serve as a USB Flash Disk Drive and store
files in other format.
Unplug the device safely
3.1.7 Locate the “Unplug or eject Hardware” icon from the system task bar and
double-click it.
3.1.8 Select the device you want to unplug from the “Unplug or Eject Hardware”
window and click the “Stop” button.
3.1.9 Select the adapter from the “Stop a Hardware Device” window and click “OK”.
