8.5.4 Press “MENU” button again to enter “Settings” sub-menu. Select “Record
Settings” from the options list and press “MENU” button again to start setting.
8.5.5 Press “NEXT” and “PREV” buttons to browse three options:
“ Encoder ”: Press “MENU” button to choose from “Encoder” options: “IM
ADPCM”, “MS ADPCM” and “PCM”.
” Rate ”: Press “MENU” button to choose from “Sampling rate” options for
recording: 8000Hz, 11025Hz, 16000Hz, 22050Hz, 32000Hz, 44100Hz, and
48000Hz. Higher sampling rate usually produces better recording quality,
however, it also consumes more memory space .
“ Exit ”: Exit to the “Settings” menu.
8.5.6 Select “Exit” option and press “MENU” again to return to the “Settings” menu.
8.5.7 Press “POWER/PLAY/STOP” button to return to the “Music” mode.
8.6 “Backlight”: Set the lasting time of LCD backlight
8.6.1 Push the “Lock” switch to off position.
8.6.2 Turn on the device.
8.6.3 Press “MENU” button. Select “Settings” from menu options.
8.6.4 Press “MENU” button again to enter “Settings” sub-menu. Select “Backlight” from
the options list and press “MENU” button again to start setting.
