Adjusting the top-of-form position
The “Top-of-Form” is the distance from the top edge of the paper to the top
of the first line of print. The default Top-of-Form setting is 1 inch.
This feature is useful when you need to print in preprinted stationery like
letterheads, invoice, etc. You might wish to start printing the first line in
different Top-of-Form length in these stationeries. The Top-of-Form setting
and fine adjustment feature helps you to achieve this with ease.
You can set different Top-of-Form according to your requirement. To customise
the Top-of-Form (TOF) perform the following steps:
1.
Load the stationery after powering on the printer. The paper gets loaded
to the current TOF.
2.
Hold the FONT Switch and Press LF/FF Switch. The paper advances in
micro steps (i.e.) it moves the paper 1/72th of an inch in forward
direction. This is called forward microline feed.
3.
Hold the ONLINE Switch and Press LF/FF Switch. The paper retracts in
micro steps (i.e.) it moves the paper 1/72th of an inch in reverse direction.
This is called reverse microline feed.
