Paper Tear-Off

This is a very useful feature if you use your printer for invoicing, ticketing or
documents that are printed and issued immediately. Paper Tear-Off feature is
selected by enabling “Tear Off” in the MENU Programming.

The top cover of your printer has a tear bar at the rear edge so you can easily
tear off perforated sheets with ease.

To use the Paper Tear-Off feature, you must be printing on continuous paper
with the Tractor Unit in the Push Position.

Follow these steps for Paper Tear-Off:

1.

When the paper is loaded from the tractor it stops just a bit above the
printhead, in the first Printing position, based on your Top-of-Form setting.

2.

After a form (say ticket) has been printed, your computer indicates printer
the end of a print job by sending a form feed command and no further
data. So, the printer automatically feeds the form till the perforation on
the stationery is aligned to the sharp edge on the top cover. This enables
you to conveniently tear the printed form away from the printer.
