Position the forms in the printer as far left as possible in order to activate
the printer’s paper sensor. You can tell that the paper sensor is activated
when the control panel’s Online Indicator LED stops flashing.
Set the printer right-side up.
Open the tractor covers, position the forms on the sprockets and close the
covers. Be sure the paper is straight. Adjust the distance between the
tractor, if necessary, by unlocking the lock levers and sliding the tractors
until the paper is taut. Relock the levers
Move the Paper select lever to the PIN position.
Turn the Paper Feed knob and set the second sheet of the continuous
paper to the correct starting position. When printing with the Tractor Unit in
the Pull Position the first sheet is unusable.
Replace the top cover and turn on the printer. Be sure the rear part of the
cover rests against the tractor unit.
