BLOBbox User Manual V. std 0.6.105 - 96
HOW TO MANUALLY CONFIGURE THE IP ADDRESSES
Press the SET (SETTINGS) button on the remote control and select NETWORK >
NETWORK.
To connect to the TVBLOB services correctly, your BLOXbox must have a valid IP
address.
The first time you access your BLOXbox, DHCP service is enabled by default. This
means that the BLOXbox searches the network for a DHCP server that automatically
assigns an IP address (on most home and professional networks a DHCP server is
present).
If a DHCP server is not found, your BLOXbox will be assigned an IP address (for
example 169.254.x.x). This will not enable you to access the internet so you must
check your internet connection or manually enter an IP address.
To manually assign a valid IP address to the BLOBbox, deselect the DHCP and
manually enter the IP address, netmask, gateway and DNS codes supplied by the
network administrator. Once the four boxes are completed, press SAVE (red button)
to confirm or CANCEL (blue button) to cancel the operation. If confirmed, the
BLOBbox will restart automatically in order to the implement the modifications.
To check if you have entered a valid IP address, press the SET (SETTINGS) button on
the remote control and select SUPPORT > DIAGNOSTICS, and press TEST (red
button).
