HOW TO PERFORM A SOFTWARE INSTALLATION OVERRIDE
If your BLOBbox does not start up correctly, it is advised to perform a software
installation override. All BLOBbox settings will be retained (e.g., language,
credentials, time zone, etc.).
Proceed as follows:
1.
If the BLOBbox is on, turn it off using the on-off button at the back of the
box.
2.
Wait several seconds and turn the BLOBbox on using that same on-off
button.
3.
As soon as the BLOBbox LED turns red, press and hold the number 9 key of
the remote control for approximately 10 seconds until the LED turns green.
4.
The screen will remain black for approximately 20 seconds.
5.
When prompted, press the number 1 key of the remote control if you are
using a PAL system TV, or number 2 key if you have an NTSC system TV.
6.
The BLOBbox will reinstall the software, which requires approximately 10
minutes.
7.
After reinstallation of software, BLOBbox will restart automatically.
