HOW TO RUN THE DIAGNOSTICS TESTS
The diagnostic tools help you to quickly isolate potential problems with your
BLOBbox service access.
Press the SET (SETTINGS) button on the remote control and select SUPPORT >
DIAGNOSTICS.
Press TEST (red button) to launch the tests and verify if there are any problems.
Currently, the BLOBbox runs three tests:
•
NETWORK
: checks the BLOBbox connection to the network.
•
INTERNET ACCESS
: checks the BLOBbox connection to the internet.
•
TVBLOB SERVICES
: checks for BLOBbox access to the TVBLOB servers.
After running the diagnostics test, the displayed results will indicate the
connections are OK or if there is a problem. If a problem is detected, press EXPLAIN
(red button) and an explanation of the type of problem will be displayed.
If you continue to experience a problem, please check the support options for your
BLOBbox.
HOW TO UPDATE BLOBBOX SOFTWARE
Press the SET (SETTINGS) button on the remote control and select SUPPORT >
SOFTWARE UPDATE.
TVBLOB offers periodic updates that add functionality to your BLOBbox. To see if
there are new updates, press VERIFY (red button). If new updates are found, press
UPDATE (red button) and your BLOBbox software will be updated. If no updates are
found, a message will appear informing you that no updates are available at the
moment.
NOTE: While updates are being made, do not disconnect the network cable or the power
cable. Once updates are completely downloaded, your BLOBbox will restart
automatically.
