Arming the device - Manual

Authority:

Super-Administrator

number has authority to arm all cameras.

Administrator

numbers have authority to arm the camera(s) which are bound with

them.

Description:

•

After arming the host, the indicator light will turn constant light green. For

information about “arming the camera” and “arming the host”, please see

chapter 2.2 and chapter 2.6 for details.

•

The default armed mode working status is:

Send alarm message via SMS and MMS; the image size is 320

240 pixel; send

three images when automatic alarms with the host working on armed mode; all

cameras working on disarmed mode.

Command:

The user must edit and send the following SMS command to the device in order

to:

Arm the host

CameraNumber

should be one digit number and in the range of “1” to “4”. It

should be the camera number which is to be armed.

Replace

CameraNumber

with * means all connected cameras.

•

CameraNumber

can be replaced with Camera Description.

Successful SMS reply:

Arm the host successfully.

Arm the camera * successfully.

Failed SMS reply:

If the camera number is invalid, the device will send a notification message via

SMS stating “Invalid camera number, please check and try again.”
