Attaching and removing the side broom

1. Close the shut-off valve (1).
2. Ensure that the hydraulic circuit is depressurised, see the

operating manual of the host vehicle.

3. Disconnect the hydraulic hoses (2) from the quick-release

couplings (3).

4. Seal the quick-release couplings (3) and hydraulic hoses (2)

with dust caps (1).

5. Swivel the side broom to the operating position, see

the side broom to the operating/normal position

6. Pull the spring cotter pins (1).
7. Hold the extension arm (2) with one hand while you pull the

bolt (3) with the other hand.

8. Remove the side broom from the mount (4).

9. Swivel the mount (3) back to the normal position.
10. Reinsert the spring bolt (2).
11. Secure the bolt with the spring cotter (1).

To attach, follow the reverse order of the removal.
