5. Set up the display limits for the speed sign
Please disregard the ‘rotary switch’ section of this software as this function is
not enabled in your speed sign as we are employing the much more versatile
PC tools channel to make on site adjustments to speed parameters.
1. Set the minimum display speed.
The sign will simply be BLANK below this speed although for stats
collecting users, the sign will be recording all events whether the
sign illuminates or not.
2. Set the Maximum display limit.
This will enable you to set an upper limit for the display, very
useful if you are in a location where drivers may well ‘race’ the
sign to see how fast they are travelling, again this does not effect
stats collection users.
3. Set the speed limit.
The display will show ‘steady’ up to this speed and ‘ash’ above
this speed with the blinking white strobe light to attract further
attention to people violating your speed limit. It is often a good
idea to set this limit number, slightly higher than the actual speed
limit so as not to be ashing at all the drivers who ARE doing the
correct speed.
