Installing the Trust ISDN USB Modem & Phone System
3.1 Connecting

1. Insert the plug from the power adapter into connection (A) at the rear of the modem (see figure 1).
2. Insert the power adapter into the wall socket. All the LED's on the modem will be lit and will then go out
one by one, except for the PWR LED, which remains lit.
3. Insert the ISDN telephone cable into connection (C) at the rear of the modem.
4. Insert the other end of the ISDN telephone cable into the ISDN telephone socket.
5. Connect your analogue telephone and/or fax machine to the connections (D and E) on the modem.
6. Insert the USB cable provided into connection (B) at the rear of the modem.
7. Insert the other end of the USB cable into a free USB port on your computer.
NOTE:
The power adapter does not have to be connected if you do not use the analogue telephone
outputs (D and E) and only use the ISDN line (C) for the Internet.
NOTE:
If you connect the modem to a USB HUB, then this HUB must have its own power supply.

Installation in Windows 98
1. Start
Windows.
2. Windows will detect new hardware (see figure 2).

3. Insert the CD-ROM containing the drivers into your CD-ROM drive. Click on 'Next'.
