6.4 VideoLive
You can use VideoLive Mail to send e-mails which contain audio and video. The
recipient does not require any special software to view or listen to these e-mails. In
order to use the application successfully, you need to have an Internet connection
and a sound card with speakers.

Start the Trust Software Installer (see chapter 5.2, points 1, 2 and 3). Item 6
of the Quick Installation Guide will be visible.

Select ‘Install Software’.

Select ‘VideoLive Mail’.
4.
Follow the on-screen instructions. You will need the serial number to complete
the installation. This is printed on the CD-ROM or the CD envelope.

Using the software
7.1
Downloading images from the camera
7.1.1
Trust738AV LCD Power Video
The TRUST 738AV LCD PV program is the main program used to view the
recordings made using the camera and to save them on your computer. You can also
use the camera as a PC camera, so that you can record video clips and take
photographs via your computer.
7.1.2
Downloading and saving photographs
1.
Connect the camera as described in chapter 5.3.
2.
Check whether the camera is in the ‘CAM’ USB mode.
3.
Follow the on-screen instructions to save the files which are on the camera
onto your PC.
7.1.3
Using the PC camera function
1.
Connect the camera to your computer.
2.
Check whether the camera is in the ‘CAM’ USB mode.
3.
The Trust software will start automatically.
4.
If it does not start automatically, click on ‘Start -> Programs -> TRUST ->
738AV LCD PV’.

Figure 11 will appear. The image viewed by the camera will be displayed on
the screen.
6.
Press the camera button in the menu (2, figure 11).
7.
Figure 12 will appear.
8.
Adjust the settings as required using options 1, 2 and 3 (see figure 12).
9.
Press the record button (4, figure 12).
10.
The recording will begin and figure 13 will appear.

Press option 1 to stop recording.
12.
Figure 13 will appear again and the recording of the video clip will be
completed.
7.1.4
Alternative method for downloading recordings from the
camera
The TRUST 738AV LCD POWER VIDEO is visible in Windows Explorer as an extra
removable disk when it is in the ‘Storage medium’ mode. Its use is as easy as moving
a file. Download photographs using ‘File – Open’ or copy them to your hard disk.
