4.4
Turning the camera on and off
Turning the camera on:
See item 1 of the Quick Installation Guide. Press the On/Off button for a couple of
seconds until the indicator flashes green.
Turning the camera off:
Press the On/Off button for a couple of seconds. The LCD screen will turn black and
the green indicator will no longer be lit.
Tip:
You can have the camera turn off automatically if it is not used for a certain
time. This time can be set as desired to 1, 3, 5 and 10 minutes. See chapter
4.6 for instructions on how to adjust this time.
4.5 Menu
system
Most settings are available on the LCD screen via the menu. Use the menu as
follows.
1.
Turn the camera on (see chapter 4.4).
2.
Press the menu button for a short period of time. A menu will be displayed.
This menu depends on the mode the camera is set to. See figure 7 for the
menu items which can be displayed on the LCD screen.
3.
Press the direction button (B, figure 3):
a)
Downwards to move to the menu item below.
b)
Upwards to move to the menu item above.
c)
To the left to return to the previous menu item.
d)
To the right to select a menu item.
4.
Press the OK button to alter a menu item.
5.
Press the menu button or press the direction button to the left if you do not
wish to alter a menu item.
4.6 Settings
When adjusting the settings, keep the fold-out page at hand and use figure 7 for an
explanation of the items which are displayed on the LCD screen. Scroll through the
menus as described in chapter 4.5.
4.6.1 Setting
menu
Turn the mode switch to the ‘Setting’ position (D, figure 2).
Item
Description
Beep
Turns the beep signal which the camera makes when scrolling
through the menus on and off.
Boot-up
Turns the intro which is displayed when the camera is turned on
on or off.
Auto off
Sets the time period after which the camera turns off
automatically when it is not used.
Date
Sets the date.
Time
Sets the time.
