Remove the memory card by pushing it so that the lock is released. Remove
the memory card from the camera

Note:
The memory card can only be inserted into the camera in one way. Do
not force the card into the slot. This could damage both the memory
card and the camera.

Note:
The camera automatically save photographs and video clips on a
memory card when one has been inserted into the camera.
The external memory card must first be formatted for optimal use.
Symbol which is displayed on the LCD screen (11, figure 5) when a memory
card has been inserted into the camera.
The symbol flashes when the memory card has been write-protected. Remove
the protection.
Note:
NEVER remove a memory card whilst the camera is still processing
data (indicator flashes green (8, figure 4)). This may result in the loss
of data or damage.
14.2
Formatting the memory
For optimal use of the internal memory or a memory card, these must first be
formatted before being used.
1.
Set the camera to the ‘Playback’ mode.
2.
Press the ‘Menu’ button (3, figure 4).
3.
Select ‘Delete’ and press the control button (5, figure 4) to the right
(‘Change’).

Select ‘Format’ and press the control button to the right (‘Set’).
5.
Select ‘Yes’ and press the control button to the right (‘Set’). The memory will
now be formatted. ‘No image!’ will be displayed on the LCD screen once the
memory has been formatted.
