OPERATION

1.     The compressor will automatically stop operating when reaching

800 kPa (116 PSI) pressure.  When air and tank pressure are reduced
to 600 kPa (87 PSI), the compressor will automatically start again.

2.     Most pneumatic machines will use approximately 600 kPa (87 PSI)

operating pressure. However, for some applications this is a low
pressure.  To adjust the adequate pressure the compressor has a
reduction valve.  This valve can adjust the air receptor valve,
(keeping in mind this will never be a higher pressure than the one
in the oil receptor).

3.      Adjusting the reduction valve is done pressing the switch to adjust

the right pressure (to the left, to lower pressure and to the right,
to increase it).  The pressure adjustment can be read in the gauge.

4.  Protection against overload: The compressor has a thermomagnetic

protector that prevents the motor from overheating. To reset the
motor, follow the steps below

• Press the switch to ensure the compressor is off.
• Let the compressor cool down for at least 5 minutes.
• Press the thermal switch located on the side of the crankcase (Fig A)
• Lift the switch to turn on the compressor.

Note: If the unit shuts down again, please go to an Authorized Service
Center

MAINTENANCE

Before carrying out any type of maintenance please turn off the unit

and disconnect from the power outlet.

1.    Change oil after the first 50 hours of use and every 150 hours

operation. Remove the oil deposit cap and the oil drain cap.  Collect
used oil into a container.  Set the oil drain cap and pour oil into the
casing upto the right level through the filling orifice.  Oil change
shall be made while the motor is still hot (but not too hot) to allow
oil to drain completely.

The red circle in the oil leveler indicates (7) the right oil level.  Follow
the regulation to dispose off used oil.

2.    Drain regularly the humidity of the tank.  The drain valve is in the

low side of the tank.  The easiest way to drain is under pressure.
Some compressors have a post-cooler with their own drain key.

Discard condensation water according to the local standards (do
not pour into the drain).

You can set a water/oil separator as an alternative.

3.     Regularly check oil level.  To learn about the right oil levels see

point 1.  Refill with SAE-30 synthetic oil if necessary.  Many accidents
can be prevented when verifying oil level on a daily basis!

Use the same oil the unit uses. Do not mix different types of oil!

4.     The air filter needs frequent cleaning or replacing.  The frequency

of this change will depend on how dirty it is.  Should the unit is
being used in dirty or dusty environments change more frequently.
To clean, remove the filter and container.  Clean the filter blowing
dust away.

The compressor durability and reliability can increase when

taking it to service regularly.

WHEEL ASSEMBLY

Place compressor in an upright position on a flat level surface for
assembly.

INSTALLING WHEELS AND RUBBER FEET

The wheels and handle do not provide adequate clearance, stability or
support for pulling the unit up and down stairs or steps. The unit must
be lifted, or pushed up a ramp.
It may be necessary to brace or support one end of the air
compressor when attaching the wheels and the rubber feet, because
the air compressor will have a tendency to tip.

INSTALLING WHEELS

The wheels must be installed prior to operating the compressor.
1.  Insert supplied wheel bolt through hole in center of wheel.
2. Place the end of the bolt on the wheel subassembly through the

corresponding hole in the wheel ground iron located on the base of
the air tank.

3. Place flat washer, split-washer on wheel bolt on backside of wheel.
4. Thread supplied nut onto the wheel bolt so that it holds the bolt

onto the wheel. Be careful not to over tighten the nut. The wheel
must be able to rotate freely.

5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 above to install second wheel.

TO INSTALL RUBBER FEET

1.  Slide washer over screw and insert into cup shaped end of rubber

foot pad.

2. Insert exposed end of bolt into corresponding hole in ground iron.
3. Fasten the rubber foot in place by threading nut onto the end of

the mounting screw.

Attach wheels to the compressor wheel mounting bracket using its

hardware in following order

Tighten nut and bolt securely using wrenches (not included)
