B. OPERATION USING 12 VOLT DC ADAPTER
WARNING:
Do not use the
Ombra
* Portable Compressor while operating a vehicle.
1.
Plug the 12 Volt DC Adapter into the vehicle outlet. A green light on the DC Adapter will illuminate when it is installed
correctly and receiving power.
2.
Plug the other end into the
AC/DC INPUT
on the side of the
Ombra
* Portable Compressor.
C. OPERATION USING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
1.
A small charge is applied to the
Ombra
* Rechargeable Battery during manufacturing, but it will need to be charged
using the
AC ADAPTER
for a full 6 hours prior to first use. For charging instructions see “Charging the
Ombra
*
Portable Battery”.
2.
Attach the
Ombra
* Rechargeable Battery to the
Ombra
* Portable Compressor by aligning
GREEN RELEASE
BUTTON
on the compressor and the
OPEN/LOCK MARKER
on the battery as shown in Figure 5. Once in place,
slide the compressor back until it locks into place. The compressor will not turn on if the battery is not locked into
place.
3.
To release the battery, press the
GREEN RELEASE BUTTON
and slide the compressor forward until the battery
can be removed.

1.
The
Ombra
* Rechargeable Battery can be charged when attached to the
Ombra
* Portable Compressor or alone.
It cannot be charged while the compressor is in use.
2.
The
BATTERY INDICATOR
on the
Ombra
* Rechargeable Battery will indicate the level of charge remaining:
Three Green Lights
– Battery has more than 75% remaining battery life
Two Green Lights
– Battery has more than 50% remaining battery life
One Green Light
– Less than 25% of the battery life is remaining
3.
Recharge
the
Ombra
* Rechargeable Battery using the
AC ADAPTER
. The charging time is approximately 6 hours.
While charging, the Battery Indicator will cycle from low to high. When the battery is fully charged, all three Battery
Indicator lights will illuminate green.
NOTE:
Charging the battery continually between treatments or after every use is not recommended. The
Ombra
*
Portable Compressor should be unplugged when not charging or when not in use.
