6.5.2 Setting up network communication
Personnel:

HVAC technician
If you want to use a PC to communicate with the air
handling unit you have to set up the network connec-
tion. The following steps apply to a Windows PC.
1. On the desktop, select ‘Start è Control Panel
è Network and Internet
è Network and Sharing Center’ .

2. Select ‘Set up a new connection or network’
(Fig. 38/1).

The ‘Set up a connection or network’ window
opens.

3. Select ‘Set up a new network’ (Fig. 39/1), then
click ‘Next’ (Fig. 39/2).

The software searches for an access point.
4. Select the air handling unit.

The ‘Local Area Connection Status’ window
opens.
